Our clients bought this property around 34 years ago; they were looking for a family home as they had two young children at the time. The location was perfect for them, a nice quiet road just a short walk to local shops and schools. Access to the city centre is easy and they’ve enjoyed many family walks in the nearby countryside, including Redmires Reservoirs and Wyming Brook. Crosspool is an incredibly popular suburb west of Sheffield City Centre. Its popularity is due to its easy access to the city centre, many hospitals and both universities as well as the surrounding stunning countryside including Redmires Reservoirs, Wyming Brook, Rivelin Valley and even Ladybower Reservoir. Another attractive feature is the local schools that are rather good and outstanding by Ofsted for all ages. Within Crosspool there are fantastic independent cafes, coffee shops, butchers, a pharmacy, a dentist, and hairdressers as well as GT News, Tesco and Spar.
